بو علی سینا کا کہنا ہے کہ دوا بیماریوں سے انسانی صحت کی حفاظت کرتی ہے اور بیماری کی وجہ یا سبب بننے والے عناصر کا علاج کرتی ہے۔ جو جسم میں علامات پیدا کرتے ہیں۔ یہ کتنی سادہ اور جامع تعریف ہے۔ اس کا مطلب جو ڈاکٹر محمد آر منور نے سمجھا۔ کہ بو علی سینا نے اپنی توجہ صرف بیماری کی وجہ یا سبب پر مرکوز کی، علامت یا علامات پر نہیں۔ اور بو علی سینا نے اس سبب کا علاج بھی تجویز کیا۔
اس کے ساتھ اس نے اپنی ایک میڈیکل نظم میں گرم دوا کی سادہ تعریف بیان کی ۔ کہ ایک گرم دوا وہ دوا ہے جو جسم میں داخل ہونے کے بعد جسم سے خارج نہیں ہوتی اور گرم مزاج رکھتی ہے۔ "شاید، وہ گرم مزاج ہی اس دوا کو جسم سے خارج نہیں ہونے دیتا۔" اس تعریف میں ایک انسان کے سمجھنے کے لیے کافی چیزیں ہیں۔ اور وہ انسان ایک ڈاکٹر یا فارماسسٹ یا حکیم بھی ہو سکتا ہے۔ بو علی سینا نے گرم دوا کو احتیاط سے آزمانے پر زور دیا۔ جب کہ بو علی سینا کی گرم دوا پودوں سے حاصل کردا تھیں جنہیں ہم نیچرل میڈیسن یا ہربل میڈیسن کہتے ہیں اس کے باوجود بو علی سینا نے گرم دوا کو احتیاط سے آزمانے کے بعد بھی گرم دوا کے استعمال میں احتیاط برتنے پر زور دیا۔
ڈاکٹر محمد آر منور ذاتی طور پر یہ سمجھتے ہیں۔ کہ ایک میڈیسن کا جسم سے خارج نہ ہونے کا یہ تصور جدید میڈیکل سائنس میں ریسرچ سے متعلق نئے دروازے کھول سکتا ہے اور جدید میڈیکل سائنس میں نئے دور کا آغاز کر سکتا ہے۔

Dr. Muhammad R. Manwar (PhD) gained research experience and knowledge in rapidly emerging sciences, including hereditary disorders and cancers, genomics, bioinformatics, pharmacogenetics, bacteriology, food chemistry, and glycomics. In different capacities, he has served higher‑education institutions—including public universities—in Asia and the Middle East. He made editorial contributions to international health and life science journals as an Editor (e.g., Topic Editor). In collaboration with scientists from the UK, China, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, he published peer-reviewed articles on rapidly emerging facets of biomedical science in high-quality journals (e.g., Q1- and Q2-ranked). His publications have been cited in well-respected (Q1 and Q2 ranking) scientific journals. He has attended scientific conferences and meetings across Asia, the Gulf, and Europe. Moreover, he has been invited as a Keynote/invited speaker and session chair at international scientific events. In 2023, Dr. Muhammad delivered a keynote lecture at an international apitherapy conference, presenting medicinal applications to scientists and academicians (including editors) from Europe, Turkey, and other countries. In 2025, he spoke at an international food chemistry conference in Turkey and received invitations from international universities to lecture and explore collaborations. His profile is decorated with international awards, fellowships, and service on the scientific committee of an international conference. He has shared research insights with scientists from Asia, Europe, Turkey, and Africa. His research strengths span rapidly evolving sciences, including cancer glycobiology and genomics, food chemistry, hereditary disease genetics, bacteriology and immunology, apitherapy, pharmacogenetics, and public health genetics. Since 2012, he has been actively studying these fields to maximize potential health benefits for patients with hereditary disorders and cancer.
